The Annapolis Woodworkers Guild is a 501(c)3 nonprofit service organization founded in 1980. We socialize, we teach, we learn, we share. Our common interest is making sawdust, working with wood to create something unique, beautiful, useful. Our members include beginners, seasoned hobbyists, and master craftsmen. Some of us prefer power tools; others prefer hand tools.

· Preserve the tradition, culture, and history of woodworking

· Teach others about woodworking

· Provide charitable efforts to organizations in need

Our current, main mission (operating since 2013) is our Toy Workshop. A group of Annapolis Woodworkers meet every Monday morning, building over 2,000 toys throughout the year. These toys are boxed and delivered to public pre-school classes in Anne Arundel county, hospitals, a local police department, and other charities.
