Jason Dawson started out in woodworking 9 years ago when he built a shop next to his house. At the time he was a general contractor doing interior residential remodeling, (bathrooms, basements, kitchens) and he needed a change. He did it on the side for 3 years before partnering with his now business partner Jonathan, from whom he was buying all of his wood at the time. Now they run Maryland’s largest live edge sawmill and woodshop combo, and supply both commercial and residential tables, bars and island tops across the country.
