We are loosing a very large 70+ year old Red Oak. I am wondering what options are available to get some usable material from it. Are there services available to take the tree down and cut the slabs on site in AAC, or do I have to transport large pieces to a mill? There are several limbs that are 12" diamater or larger, is it possible to use them. I have seen trailerable bandsaws on YouTube is it possible to rent them? Any ideas are welcome.
